I wonder if sometimes we miss seeing what God has for our lives because we are so afraid we won’t do it “right.” Praying in the “right” places, attending the “right” things, even journaling in the “right” journals, or doing it the “right” way. Sometimes we need to get out there and just start running.
Can I encourage you to worry about getting it right later?
As we get into a pattern, we can make changes, but the thing that I believe God wants most from us is to start. He will lead us the rest of the way. I am confident of that. God has got things for us to see, and they may be just around the corner. Open a Bible, surrender your expectations of what it is supposed to look like, and run free.
Run with your eyes on the God you have heard of, who will become the God that you know. Keep running with your gaze eager in expectation of what may be just around the corner.
I know He is there, I know He is real, and I know there is more satisfaction and freedom just up ahead. I believe it for me, and I believe it for you. Run my friends, into the arms of your Father, who has beautiful things just around the corner that He can’t wait to show you.
Worry about getting it right later…and run free.
