I read a funny question on Facebook that said, “We need to come together on this; Did the coronavirus kill the Easter bunny or did Carole Baskin?” Oh my word, what a time we are living in!
But, this weekend, let’s get serious about the real debate that many of us need to process. “Did Jesus die on the cross to then raise from the dead three days later, or didn’t he?” “Do I believe that, or do I not?” “Do I believe that Jesus is the way to eternal life?”
Those are big questions, and when it all comes down to it, how you would answer determines… changes… everything.
I love the quote by C.S. Lewis that states, “Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important.”
My heart aches for the world not to be torn about the little things in life, but to intensely desire to know the truth about who Jesus is and to experience it for all its worth.
There is good news, the best news, coming your way Sunday, and I pray that if you are on the fence as to what it all means you would let yourself dive in and find for yourself the answer.
We are all in our homes right now. Going to church is not an option, but the message is readily available to come to you. Below is a list of churches that I know will give you truth about the story of Jesus. Check out their message schedules today, write a time on your calendar for Sunday, and spend an hour listening to what happened years ago that impacts your life forever. It is of infinite importance, and it’s such good, good news.
